DOUBLE CHOCOLATE COCA COLA CAKE

Ingredients

For the Cake:

1 cup of regular coke

½ cup of oil

1 stick salted butter

3 Tbsp cocoa

2 cup of sugar

2 cup of flour

½ tsp. salt

2 eggs

1/2 cup of buttermilk

1 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. vanilla

For the Frosting:

1 stick butter

3 Tbsp. cocoa

6 Tbsp. cream or milk

1 tsp. vanilla

3 ¾ cup of powdered sugar

½ cup of chopped walnuts (optional)

How to prepare

The Cake:

Step 1:

Mix coke, oil, butter, and cocoa in a pan and allow to boil. Then combine sugar, flour and salt in a separate bowl, pouring the boiled coke mix over flour mix, then mix them together.

Step 2:

Then add eggs, buttermilk, soda and vanilla in the flour and coke mix and beat well. Grease and flour the baking pan and pour the mix into it. Allow to bake at 350 degree Fahrenheit for about 35 – 40 minutes or until it bounces when you tap.

Step 3:

Remove from the heat and allow to cool for about 10 minutes before frosting.

The Frosting:

Combine butter, cocoa and milk in a sauce pan. Allow to heat until the butter melts, then add in the remaining ingredients, beat them in and spread on warm cake.
