°4 thinly sliced potatoes
°3 tbsp butter
°3 tbsp flour
°1 milk 1⁄2cups
°1 teaspoon salt
°1dash cayenne pepper
°1 cup sharp grated cheddar cheese
°1⁄2cup grated cheese to sprinkle over
In a small frying pan, melt the butter and mix in the flour.
Let sit for a minute.
Add all the cold milk, stirring whisk.
Season with salt and cayenne.
Cook the sauce on low heat until smooth and boil, stirring occasionally with the whisk.
Reduce the heat and stir the cheese.
Place half the potato slices in a slightly greased ceramic dish.
Pour half the cheese sauce on the potatoes.
Repeat with second layer of potatoes & cheese sauce.
Sprinkling rest cheese on top.
Top with some paprika for colors.
