SLOW COOKER MEMPHIS RUB BBQ BRISKET

Ingredients
  • 4 pound trimmed flat brisket
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon chipotle chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
  1. Mix together all spices

  2. Rub over brisket

  3. Wrap with foil

  4. Place in slow cooker and cook for 8-9 hours on low

  5. Remove and slice against the grain

  6. Return to slow cooker with juices to keep warm until ready to serve
